We must work to prevent the government from going too far

ARPA Money comes with stipulations such as, but not limited to the following: “The Recipient also agrees to comply with all other applicable federal laws, regulations and decrees, and the Recipient must provide for such compliance. by the other parties in any agreement it concludes with other parties relating to this award. In addition to the above, the contract includes a list of applicable federal laws, but is intentionally vague on the meaning of “executive orders,” but could include warrants on vaccines, contract research and future federal guidelines. .

Grassroots activists demanded that Bonner County reject ARPA funds. Many counties across the country have refused to open their doors to excessively federal scope by accepting and spending ARPA money.

As a community we need to come together to understand what is happening in our country, state and county. We must make our collective voices heard to prevent such government excess.

We the people have more control over our local and federal government than we do. Now is the time to stand up and demand the freedom that so many people fought for and gave their lives for. Tell your elected officials to say no to ARPA and other funds. No, our country, our county, our neighbors are not for sale.

As President Thomas Jefferson once said, “What country can preserve its freedoms if its leaders are not warned from time to time that their people are preserving the spirit of resistance …?”
